Lunch with English musician pals, who live in the Old Town, at a beach restaurant in Garavan, just along from Menton & almost on the Italian border.
Jeff Fayman arrived on a platform of Menton Gare at 14.45 – and was able to get off the train, even. Pal Fayman is staying with a composer friend in Villefrance, a little along the coast toeards Nice. Cake & coffee at one of our two favourite locals, champagne on the balcony, glaces & dinner on the Garavan beach, where we lunched, then walking Jeff back to Menton Station. We are hoping he’ll be able to get off at the station in Villefrance.
